Congrats to a KY guy on a KY win!

I have one problem with automated cars. When an accident happens, and it will, who do you go after? Right now you go after the driver and his her insurance company if it is a bad accident and lots of expenses or casualties occur. With a driverless car, you could sue the owner but they will just put the blame on the manufacturer or the person who programmed the car. Or the software maker. Or the mechanic. Or the roadway. It's bad enough insurance companies try to put the blame on someone else at it is now in all sorts of cases. These cars are gonna be a mess for the person that gets hit by one.

Wonder where the guys that seem to know it all about everything are on this topic? Could it be that for once nobody is in the know?

On the flipside to that, too many coaches get hired because of "loyalty". You should hire the best person for the job. Just because someone is alumni doesn't mean they will be the best coach.

I was asking you seriously if they "settled" for this guy because they didn't get who they wanted. And no I don't know anything about why Andre didn't get the job.

Any one know if he has any ties with HC, or any kids coming up thru school?

I hope they are looking for someone who not only is a good coach, but do not have any children coming up through the school. I wouldn't even want someone who is close to the families of the school. Just a great coach with no with no ties to the school what so ever.

I would disagree 100%. Not all AAU teams are hand picked. Not even close to all. Yes your top teams in the state or the nation are for sure, but that leaves a whole bunch of kids playing AAU that we're be not " hand picked". I have witnessed an AAU coach ''dealt players" that couldn't win a single game and get blowed out by 60 in 7th grade and by the following season they were contenders in everything they played and even winning some. Season after that they won way more than they ever lost. That is a real coach in my book. Had nothing to do with high school kids or AAU, as they were both.

He was the man in charge of the basketball program at town and country sports complex in Wilder when it opened 2 years ago. Not sure if he still there or not. I believe he played ball at TMC as well

Probably same way a NAIA D1 school in Oskaloosa Iowa (William Penn University) found a player that graduated from Holy Cross last year. They seen video and liked what they saw. Just my guess
