Maybe I don't have the most refined taste, but I think Arby's B&G are the best on the market. Being able to eat a filling breakfast for $1 plays a large part in this as well.

I like both but I admit, nothing better than good homemade biscuits with savory, peppery sausage gravy!

 

Peppery for sure! Gotta go with B & G. Throw in a side of eggs with hot sauce & we're good to go.

If I'm at home Biscuits and Gravy...anyplace else Bacon and Eggs.

My wife has ruined me for anyone else's gravy...well my mom's is OK too.

 

This... Except I am the one who makes the gravy at home.

And once you've got fresh biscuits you can whip up some chocolate gravy, which is a delicacy those outside of Kentucky are unfamiliar with.

 

I was introduced to chocolate gravy in Pike County in 1973.

The Hardees in Maysville could close its doors at 11AM and probably turn a better profit than it does now. They sell biscuits and gravy like hotcakes (pun intended).

You can eat however you like, but I was just curious what people would prefer if forced to pick one.

I'm with @rockmom. I'm not a big breakfast eater except on weekends or if we decide to do breakfast for dinner. That's mainly because I work outside though and don't want a loaded meal that early in the day. But when I do eat breakfast I go big hah. Bacon, eggs and hash browns are my go to because I can fry them all at the same time on the same griddle. However I don't get my feelings hurt one bit if the misses decides to bake some biscuits and whisk up some gravy to go with.

Which does your youngster prefer?

Back when I was a kid and we made our own pork sausage, Dad made sure there was plenty of pepper and sage in the recipe. You can't find anything like it on the grocery shelves, but I get the Jimmy Dean Sage and doctor it up.

 

I would want both the B&E and the B&G. I'd settle for the doctored sausage gravy over Mrs. S's homemade biscuits, if it were topped by two eggs over easy.
