February 17, 201610 yr No problem here. Btw, the correct label is "Pro Innocent Life" Alas, the labels. I guess us conservative folk get em too. And mcpapa thought the pinkos had em cornered.
February 17, 201610 yr Back to the thread topic; hope there is a video and all of ISIS gets to see it! But my question is this, if we can get that close, why can't we eliminate the whole camp and everybody in it? Missiles can be a wonderful thing..... February 17, 201610 yr Any pro lifer's out there upset with this one? I have not read every post on this thread, so someone else may have made this point. A baby in its mother's womb is guilty of no crime. The ISIS beheader was an evil, murderous individual who received justice. Some would say he did not receive a trial, but in war there is no need for a trial to eliminate your enemy. To paraphrase Patton, No one ever won a war for dying for his country, make the other guy die for his.
February 17, 201610 yr It's difficult for a sniper to take more than 2 shots. A drone or something would have been nice but a sniper wouldn't be able to so much more Carlos Hathcock once pinned down an entire platoon in Vietnam. Every time one tried to make a break for it...They didn't get far. I think he kept them pinned down and picking them off for maybe 18 hours. Ended up getting nearly everyone of them by the time he backed out. Of course he is maybe the Greatest Sniper to ever live. Ever sniper may not be able to do what he did or have the proper alignment to do so. He had a perfect situation to pull that off. But again he was the best there ever was.
February 17, 201610 yr A resounding yes. I don't believe in killing babies, but I do believe in retribution against evil people. Yes, I know it's contradictory, but I still believe in capital punishment and I don't need anyone to agree with me. I'm 65 years old and I'm sick and tired of side stepping do gooders. It's not contradictory.
February 17, 201610 yr You are asking for consistency from a Pro Lifer!? I consider myself pro-life and VERY CONSISTENT... We are in a war with ISIS. Obviously I am OK with taking out killers when we are at war with someone. I don't think that makes me inconsistent at all.

He was the man.
February 17, 201610 yr I'm pro-life as defined by your little poll you posted the other day. I'll take any battle of wits you want in a quid pro quo. Hair may have left, but the rest of the head is solidly intact. A battle of wits would not be fair, as you would be going into battle against someone unarmed.
February 17, 201610 yr Don't ask a pro-lifer to think critically. THEIR head might explode! You are a perfect example of liberals just thinking they're smarter than everyone else. You may have me in science. I'll take history, English, information technology, sports, and not being a condescending smart alec to anyone who doesn't agree with me and go head to head with you any day. Common sense defeats most of them.
February 17, 201610 yr We should show them video of Daryl Dixon blowing up Negan's buddies on the TWD. They will disband and disappear out of fear.

Ha maybe zombies would stop the radical jihads but an rpg won't. They walk through fields with known snipers, they've seen every type of bomb dropped on their cities. They're more than willing to die for the cause and it don't change for another 50 years, until the culture can somehow shift.

I actually saw a video of a sniper shooting at a couple of Taliban guys from very long range. The first couple of shots hit at their feet and kicked dirt up. They just kept walking at a normal pace, like nothing was happening. Then a few steps later...the walking stopped.
February 17, 201610 yr A battle of wits would not be fair, as you would be going into battle against someone unarmed. This reminds me of something I was told as a young boy...Never get into an argument with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
February 17, 201610 yr I think the golden rule is no more than 3 shots or the enemy can locate the sniper I certainly have no experience with such matters but with this, I'd imagine that while it's the concern of giving up their location that day, but they probably don't want to give up that location for future missions as well.
