February 17, 201610 yr And deserves? Wow!!! But to answer your question on the baby apparently a majority of Americans agree with me, not you, and probably most all of us agree on the terrorists. Just noticed this part of your response. And yes, I did say and mean 'deserves'. Because how can one justify taking a person's life be it by sniper fire, execution or abortion if there is not something in one's mind that says that taking that life is the right thing to do? And if taking that life is the right thing to do, then the person who is killed, at some level in one's thought process, must have deserved to have had their life taken.

Technically we are not talking about a baby but an unborn fetus that could not survive on its own. And I certainly can't speak for any women but maybe having a child is a threat to their own existence.

One one hand, they are all separate issues. On the other hand taking a life is taking a life so they are related. I sure would feel a lot better about killing terrorists if we would actually declare war against the enemy vs. all the covert wars we fight around the globe. Essentially what we have is a bunch of secret killing. The average citizen doesn't have a clue who we are killing, why we are killing them, who makes the decision, how the decision is made, and on and on. On the death penalty, our criminal justice system can't support the death penalty at the current time. We can't correct the mistakes and most of us don't have the proper resources to fight what is sometimes a corrupt system of justice. As I stated yesterday, I hate the thought of killing/aborting an unborn child but I believe within reason a woman should have that right over her own body.
