This reminds me of something I was told as a young boy...Never get into an argument with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

 

I saw a similar one and it looked like the shot actually removed the head and part of the spine of the targeted enemy fighter.

So we can make the choice to kill someone on the other side of the world but it is wrong for a woman to make a choice in her own best interests?

This thread has made me reconsider my doubts about Attention Deficit Disorder....I can't recall one that was so all over the place. Starts with snipers and weaponry, moves on somehow to abortion / rights and finishes with a lovefest compliment between two guys with limited hair follicles, but talking about comb overs.

I doubt that you would find that the majority of Americans would share your view that one equals the other in this type case. If the question was asked, "which one deserves to be killed, an innocent child or a homicidal terrorist?" what do you think the split would look like?

But to answer your question on the baby apparently a majority of Americans agree with me, not you, and probably most all of us agree on the terrorists.

I guess this paradox/contradiction/dilemma/whatever you want to call is it a pretty good example of why it is just flat out irrational and irresponsible to summarily generalize someone's belief sets by using two words. Pro-Life? What does that mean? You are for, in support of, life? I would think that everyone is in favor of living. Pro-Choice? You support the ability to make choices? Again, seems like a pretty easy one to get behind.

 

There are zero contradictions between being anti-abortion and supporting the war on terrorism, or supporting capital punishment. None. The only contradiction comes into play when you try to lump someones entire belief set into two words, for the sole purpose of trying to corner them into a hypocritical conclusion.

Under normal circumstances, I would probably skim over this post and neglect to reply due to the development of the thread and time elapsed since posting.

 

But this coming from you, is quite possible one of the more laughable things I have seen in a while. You consistently bring as much information and knowledge to the table as the latest MSNBC article. I'm convinced the majority of your opinions are formulated after reading phony Facebook articles. Yet, you are going to call out others for critical thinking? Really? Go back and look at your posts in the political forums. I'm going to take a rough estimate, and say that over 75% of what you "contribute" is nothing more that rhetorical, baseless jabs at the conservative readers.

I had no question "on the baby", my question was specifically worded to encompass two types of victims, an innocent baby and a homicidal terrorist. You equated these two. I am saying that they are not equal and I believe that most would agree with me.
