I will go first, I like 6 classes better because it addresses some of the disparities in enrollment.

I think a state championship tee with AAAAAA state champs on it would look cool.

More schools feeling they have a legitimate shot to win a state championship thereby increasing their efforts to do so, which improves football around the state.

The possibility of watching 6 championship games instead of 4...

No more 8 team districts to start...

Freedom in scheduling. We've been playing in a 9 team district, plus we are locked in a game with Bullitt Central every year. This left us only ONE game to schedule. With the new set up we will have 6 games to work with.

Fresh schedules, 6 OOD games could bring some interesting matchups.

All of the above. Those posts pretty much some up the logic and rationale of the KFCA and the KHSAA. Whatever negatives, the above positives outweigh them to the point that we at least need to give 6 classes a shot.

Little school that dont make the playoffs will get a chance which will make them more money with commissions.

I think a silver lining might be that it will encourage some of the largest schools to schedule games against more powerhouse, out-of-state competitors. Trinity already does this to some extent - X, Male, and a few of the others I beleive should to.

Maybe more "Jackson Counties" out there who want to start a program but did not think they could compete, may now take the leap and start a program.

There is no equity when a school has the enrollment of boys to dress 65 kids and be single a and the opponent can dress only 20 . I love this plan for the small schools!

This is probably the one and only positive I can think of. Which may bring about some unintended results for the KHSAA.
