So just have multiple colleges on notice that they may have to host 3 high football games?

If WKU is hosting a home game then that would preclude any HS games on Friday or Saturday, due to the college teams day before walk through.

 

I still think the best and most obvious answer is to push the finals back 7 days to the following Friday and Saturday at WKU.

I think it is a little more complicated than rounding up a band of concession stand workers (who too I guess would just be on call).

Its really not that hard. All of the colleges mentioned host larger crowds than what a HS will bring anyway.

 

I hate it at WKU anyway. Move it back to Louisville, more stuff to do there anyway and closer for most.

Pushing the games back one week is the most correct answer. Skip the weekend after Thanksgiving, and let everyone have a holiday off. Come back the next weekend with the semis and follow it up with the title games the next weekend.

I think they'll live...one week won't make that big of a difference especially if these kids are playing for a title.

Moving it back a week would be the best deal for all involved. No need to move it to several other towns as it needs to be in one place!

The contracts with each respective organization and WKU should address this. They should be public record. Not that I find them.

If WKU can't host when they are supposed to then that's a breech of contract.

 

If they would rather continue hoping to host their college championships then fine. But give up the rights to KHSAA and move on to another venue that can host it.

Like UK. It's pretty central for everyone, more motels, eateries, and adventure in Lexington anyway.

Rupp Arena doesn't balk on games, they are played on schedule and it don't matter if rain or snow.
