I'm still curious if this means "location" moved or "game times" moved?

From what he's saying the game times will be moved. They will still be played at WKU. They've not met yet to decide on when the games will be. Gotta wait and see if WKU is even hosting the CUSA championship first.

True. And unless Western loses a couple games real soon, we won't know for sure if they host until the Western/Marshall game, which is on Thanksgiving Friday. That is cutting things very close.

I'm sure they probably have. It was on the agenda for the Board of Control meeting last week. It would be nice to see what those plans are.

I have been told that they are looking at 2 plans -

 

1 -Thursday, 2 - Friday, 3 - Sunday

 

3 - Thursday, 3 - Sunday - most likely.

 

 

Less than 10% chance they are moved to anywhere else location wise.

3 on Thursday and 3 on Sunday definitely seems to be the way to go IMO.

Talk about making people travel who wanted to stay like they always have to watch both games.

 

People from 2 hours away cant afford to stay all weekend to watch the games.

 

They should move it for this year or not let the State Finals ever have to be changed due to a college game. The state finals are already set for days and times.

This. 100% this.

 

I love making a weekend out of it. A day of games, followed by food and fun on Friday. Then another day of games. I love getting to watch 6 games full of good teams in 2 days. If it's Thursday and Sunday, I'll only be coming to one day. And that's pretty crappy.

 

Plus on Thursday, you're short changing half the teams an extra day of prep. They have the same length, but any deviation in a normal schedule can always pose a risk of throwing 15-18 year old kids off their game.

 

Push it back a week if you have to, but keep it on Friday and Saturday. I guess if it comes down to Thursday and Sunday, then I'll be a Marshall fan.
