It's my understanding that if you win your conference (also was told MSC east and west treated as two different conferences by naia as far as playoffs.) and are ranked in the top 20 that you get an automatic bid. Cumberland was ranked 20 last week and if they had beaten GU they would have surely been in. But since it is unlikely that even with a win at UPIKE they would achieve a top 20 ranking I can't see them getting an at large spot. In the east the top three teams are all in top 15 ranking and I don't think LWC who is 14th get in either. I'm no expert but I just don't see it. But will apologize if I'm wrong. Oh I don't see them getting back to top 20 either just was quoting what GC head coach Cronin had said and what Dr green had said at a prospective student meeting yesterday. Basically they both said they still had a chance and need to take it one game at a time and let it fall wherever it does.

Probably know more than I do. LWC is in the same boat so I was part of an hour long conversation Sat about the scenario's and none of them looked good for LWC or Georgetown. If Uof Cumberland had won they were in from my understanding of the system so that loss was huge. Congrats.

Why not just cancel it.
