Hellbird
I didn't get that either. It was almost like he didn't know there was a shot clock and wanted to run the clock down the last 6 mins of the game.
jericho
With what we have leaving it's going to be weird not hearing names like Harrison, Stein, and Calapari
born2reign
Towns didn't get enough touches to end the game in the final possessions. I didn't love the isolation plays- I would have rather run clear outs for Towns in the post.
Wireman
The officiating, combined with bad shooting and taking the foot off the gas way too early determined the outcome of this one. Kentucky had like 8-9 chances to extend the lead to 6-8 points late and just couldn't find a basket. Then the free points given to Wisconsin after the shot clock expired and the bogus foul on Harrison drove the final nail in the coffin.
Clyde
Did the twins really walk off without shaking UW players hands?
Voice of Reason
At least our 1st team All American was huge tonight. True. I pretty sure WCS did not have a rebound or score a point in the second half. He did play some good defense.

Then all of them miss the shot clock. They should all be fired immediately.
newarkcatholicfan
The Big ten again tells the SEC not today, as the Badgers defeat the Wildcats tonight. LOVE THE BIG TEN AND THE BADGERS. I expected the Cats to win by ten or more but can't be shocked that the Badgers, who are a team of solid workers, who play in a much greater conference won the contest. TexasRanger
Foul calls are hard to argue. But the bucket WI got in the first half were the player did not establish himself coming from out of bounds to in bounds was a bad missed call and the shot clock violation in the 2nd half was also bad. I was suprised a crew of this level missed those two.
OlDog75
Hell of a season for the C A T S. Very very tough to try to go as an undefeated champion in men's basketball. Just got outplayed tonight by a good Wisconsin team.
gametime
Bo Ryan with a convincing win in the coaching category. Cal insisted on switching everything for most of the night and Wisky isolated the mismatch far more often than not. Add in the offensive rebounding and it was too big of a hill to climb... Voice of Reason
I thought Lyles was going to step up in this one. He did make a couple nice plays but one rebound in the game for him.
jlow
Stalling hurt bad............guy coming in from out of bounds in 1st half w/o establishing himself inbounds and then scoring hurt........not rebounding on def boards hurt worse..........Wisconsin scoring on a shot clock violation hurt even worse. Between Cal stalling, Wisconsin playing hard, and Las Vegas (who knows)........Cats fall............Losing 2 games in their last 45 (both in final four)........is pretty darn awesome...... Cats3x
Cal lost this game by not stepping on Wisconsin's throat. That's inexcusable. Don't blame the players, Cal did that. A couple of calls were terrible. The shot clock violation was awful as was the last two fouls on Aaron. Kentucky has had the most talented basketball team in America five of the last six seasons and has one title. That stings.
