Athletes are treated differently because there is a sanctioning body that oversees all athletics in the state. There are people that complain now that St. X and Trinity have advantages that others do not, can you imagine what it would be like if kids could move freely from one school to another?

 

And realistically, unless you are an athlete, you CAN move freely from school to school (assuming you pay the tuition and get accepted).

You are probably correct. I think everybody would love to know which rule or part of rule they met to become eligible. If it's a personal reason, then delete this thread. Other than that let's hear it. Not saying that you know. Speaking of KHSAA or BGP people in the know or even a CCH person.

 

 

Personal reason or not at the end of the day it is none of our business why he chose to make the decision he did. That's between him and the KHSAA whether or not he gets to play and if he is ruled eligible then they obviously did everything that was needed to do to become eligible and that is all that matters.

 

Everything else is speculation, accusations and entertaining discussion.

I think if he has any change of address, even moving next door to his current house, he will be ruled eligible.

I think he would need to move out of his current district to work this "loophole". Isn't that what the Moeves kids did at NCC?

There should not be ANY "loopholes" whatsoever. That's part of the problem with the KHSAA. Rules need to be firm and enforced. Once precedent is set, others follow.
