The Game of the Week - Preview

 

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Oct 1, 2013) Coming up in a week 5 BGP Fantasy Football League - 2013 intra-divisional showdown, the 3-1 Huggs Thuggs * face off against the 3-1 Florence Fighters .

 

Huggs Thuggs * were led in week 4 by a 23 point effort from the Washington Redskins Defensive Team. With the Redskins on bye in week 5, they'll need to count on their second-string Def to carry the team this week. In addition, Kenbrell Thompkins was not injured before the start of his week 4 game, and contributed 18 points, but he's listed as questionable in week 5 due to an injured shoulder , which might severely limit his fantasy production.

 

"There's no love lost between these two teams," Huggs Thuggs * coach gametime said.

 

Florence Fighters were led in week 4 by a 36 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Miami Dolphins defense for 413 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards. In addition, Marcel Reece was not injured before the start of his week 4 game, and contributed points, but he's listed as questionable in week 5 due to an injured knee , which might severely limit his fantasy production. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Florence Fighters can expect a 27 point effort from Drew Brees in week 5, who is expected to beat the Chicago Bears defense for 340 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards.

 

"We have to go out and take care of business," Florence Fighters coach MJAlltheWay24 said.

This is the first game between these two franchises in 2013, and is sure to be a hard-fought struggle.
