  • Pretty awesome graphic. Wouldn’t think there’s many kids that have thrown for 1000+, ran for 4000+, and caught 2300+, along with 12 return TDs. Crazy numbers.

I'm surprised it took him this long to get one! Super talented kid.

Kid is the best player in KY. As a Sophomore.

If Boyle County wins Stata the next couple of years he's definitely going to win Mr. Football his senior year. He's one of the best players in the State right now as a Sophomore. Haddix knows when crunch time comes he puts the ball in Tavey's hands. Kid is special. He also holds an offer from EKU.

I wonder where he projects at the next level, my guess would be a receiver in the Wan'Dale Robinson/Rondale Moore mold, but those guys were 5'9" at best. I think Tavey is closer to 6'0" and still growing (someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that).

Either way, he's a special athlete and I'm sure this offer is the first of many Power 5 schools coming his way.

No way he’s 6’0. I’m 6’0 and I’m taller than him when he has cleats and a helmet on haha.

Thanks for the clarification on that. I guess that makes him more likely to play offense at the next level then.

That’s what I’m thinking. He is a sure tackler and has a nose for the football. With that said, he is at his best with the ball in his hands.

Seen him play twice this season. Lightning in a bottle!  His punt return vs. North Hardin was incredible. Probably a slot receiver at the next level.

I don't follow recruiting closely, how likely is it (and when) that he gets offered by schools like Alabama, Clemson, Ohio St etc?

If those offers are coming they’ll likely be this summer, possibly next, especially if he hits up the big time camps.
