What was Marvin Williams' rank?

Harrison Barnes was in the top 2 or 3 if memory serves.

Barnes who is all Wiggins looks like at this point granted that's a heck of a comp. Barnes told Cal no also.

From the LH today:

There is no scheduled date for Wiggins’ college decision, but Huntington Prep Coach Rob Fulford told the Herald-Leader earlier this month that an announcement would come no later than May 15, which is the final day of the regular signing period.

He will get as many minutes as he can handle. Why would Cal sit the best player in the country more than typical rest? Your logic here is beyond flawed...

Cal normally even likes for guys to sub themselves in and out.

Why would he go to UK and be one of 6 McDs All Americans? He ought to go to UNC.

Because there will be less pressure on Wiggins at UK than any other school in the country next year. Last year that was just the opposite, and I think that's what held the young guys back was their ability to deal with the pressure that they had to play at a top level in order to win. Next year, with the talent UK has the freshmen can just do there thing and play loose. When they do that they'll shine...

Gametime, you've probably answered this a hundred times over, but, 1) where do you see Wiggins going? 2) when do you think that decision will come? 3) should anything be read into the fact three of Wiggins top four schools are visiting this week and UK is not?

Maybe the kid wants the best opportunity at a national championship. Maybe he just wants to play Xbox. Maybe he just turned 18, has a girlfriend who committed to ND and would like to see her as often as possible and it's not a bad drive to HTN considering she is just a junior. Maybe he's really close to his host family at prep who has a really solid relationship with his parents and wants to be where they can come watch him play more easily.

Maybe none of that matters and he is tired of the UK drama and goes to UNC.

My sister is actually pretty good friends with her. It appears that this is actually a bigger factor than many would believe.

1) No clue. He doesn't seem to be leaning one way or another yet, so guessing is pointless. 2) If Fulford says it will be done before the May 15th LOI deadline, I believe him. 3) I believe UK has used up all of their visit time with Wiggins, so it isn't like they could join the fun but decided not to...

I do not think he's the best player in the country, he might be the best athlete.. Regardless, wherever he goes he will average 32-35 mins a game.

Who do you see as the best?

Many minus me.

Who do you see as the best?

He watched the Jordan game. So, my guess is that thought was pilfered from there.

Many minus me.

Me either, but mostly because you've been telling me about it for months... :lol2:

Here is a question... Let's say he comes to UK (and I hope he does). Do the 7 McDs guys coming to UK anticipate being one and dones? If most/all do, then it seems to me some of these kids have made a mistake coming to UK. They can only put 5 on the court at a time and it seems Wiggins is a lock to play huge, huge minutes regardless of whether he struggles or not. Did some of these other kids miscalculate when choosing UK, or are some anticipating staying for more than one year?

For your argument to have merit Daniel Orton would have to not exist.....

Who do you see as the best?

I like Randle at 1, he is a beast plays years above his age and can handle the spotlight just fine.

I think there is no doubt in the country which program prepares somebody the most for the next level and I feel like a lot of players would sacrificed 3-5 minutes a game for that opportunity, as well as a great chance at a National Championship!
