Well, there's another one I got wrong in the contest.

Don't sleep on the Cards, young and everyone thought they were a year away, but have surpassed expectations. I would not want them in the region....

They could have posted as big or bigger a win Friday night at Lexingto Catholic except that their youth really showed up when LC applied the pressure in the second half and the officials let 'em play. You have to fight through those games if you are to have a true shot at making it to Rupp.

What I want to know is how they got Male to drive to Monticello a few days before the districts begin? What is that, an 8 hour round trip?

It is a 180 mile one-way trip, most of it Interestate. I assume their bus can average 60 to 70 MPH which makes it a 3 hour trip at most.

 

And I don't believe Male's first District Game is until Wednesday night, four days later (whereas Wayne County plays Monday night).
