June 14, 201214 yr Heading to my buddy's house in Destin FL week of July 4th to stay for a week with the family. He has a sweet place down there, 11 rooms and 5 bedrooms in a gated community close to the beach. Cheap week as he is only charging me $400 to stay. I have never been so I am looking forward to checking out the sights, I hear Baytown Wharf is a hot spot and there is a ton to do down there. Love Destin! Family went for Spring break, made our reservations for next Spring Break. Beautiful beaches!

June 14, 201214 yr My girlfriend wants to go to the zoo in Cincy, so I guess there's that. I've only been able to truly vacation about twice in my life, and they both involved watching my sister's AAU basketball team. I'm putting back some money now so that me and some buddies can go on a golf vacation somewhere next year. I am REALLY excited for that.
June 14, 201214 yr This summer we will be touring the Midwest. Summerfesting in Milwaukee, lake fun at in-laws in Monticello, IN, and maybe a few days in Indy for Children's Museum and basketball.
June 14, 201214 yr Took my first 2 to FL Panhandle when they were about 4 and 2. Drove through the night. Best way to do it if you have kids IMO.

I've been to Gatlinburg 4 times in my life...which is kindof enough for me, as far as I'm concerned. And Pigeon Forge, well I wouldn't mind if that whole town burned to the ground. Now Great Smokey Mountains National Park, on the other hand, that's and entirely different story. I could spend a few weeks a year exploring that.

June 14, 201214 yr Wife is taking me to San Fran. is a few weeks to watch the Reds. It was my 40th birthday present from her. Neither of us have been west of the Rockies. I'm looking forward to some serious seafood. Then in the middle of July we are taking our 4 and 6 year old to Disneyworld, staying at one of the resorts. A great time will be had by all.
