The KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl returns to Kroger Field for the second-straight year this weekend, when the state football finals are contested Nov. 30th through Dec. 2nd on the University of Kentucky campus. Friday’s action opens with Beechwood (11-2) facing Pikeville (11-2) in the 1A Championship at 2 p.m., followed by Central (12-2) versus Corbin (13-1) in the 3A Championship at 7 p.m.

 

Saturday’s slate features three contests at Kroger Field, starting with Mayfield (14-0) against Christian Academy-Louisville (14-0) in the 2A Championship at 1 p.m. Franklin-Simpson (13-1) and Johnson Central (13-1) will square off for the 4A Championship game for the third-straight year at 4:30 p.m., followed by Male (13-1) taking on Scott County (11-3) in the 6A Championship game at 8 p.m. The 2018 KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl concludes Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. when South Warren (14-0) faces Covington Catholic (14-0) for the 5A Championship.

 

Each game of the KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl will be webcast live at KHSAA.tv for subscribers to the NFHS Network (http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/). Subscription plans for the NFHS Network are available for $9.95 a month. A monthly subscription, priced less than the cost of admission to a state championship event, entitles users to every broadcast by the KHSAA and the more than 40 participating state associations.

 

A free audio-only feed of the games will also be available online through Mixlr (KHSAA | Events | Mixlr), which has a corresponding app available for iOS and Android devices.

Watching the NFHS Network On Your TV:

 

Unfortunately we cannot support streaming through Smart TVs at this time. There are a few options you can try though if you want to watch on your TV.

 

To view a game on your TV you can plug an HDMI cable directly from your computer or laptop to mirror or extend its display on your TV.

 

If you have a Chromecast you can cast a Google Chrome tab from your computer to your TV.

 

If you have an Apple TV you can select Screen Mirroring from your iPhone or iPad while in the Live App or mobile site to mirror your screen through the Apple TV. You can also try downloading our Apple TV app if you have a 4th Generation Apple TV.
