16thBBall Fan
(Conference USA Championship) Final great game. Western made a great comeback just a little short. Congrats to Marshall going to the Big Dance for the first time in 31 years
DragonFire
Elmore was unconscious, and it turned out his last points of the night, on what was probably a 27 footer, was enough. Marshall didn't score again, but WKU failed on two chances to take the lead, the last of which was all but down, but rattled out. WKU had committed only four fouls in the second half, and that buried them with only 7 seconds left. They got one, but couldn't get the second one on the inbound, and Marshall was able to pass up the court and get the win. Elmore willed them to the win. He hit some freaking ridiculous shots in the second half. I wanted this one bad for WKU - they were right there, but just didn't have enough. Tough to sweep a team and then fall to them in the postseason.

If you win your conference regular season championship, but fail to make the NCAA Tournament, you're guaranteed a spot in the NIT.
