Fasttalker
I mistakenly reported B.B. won 54-49 over Paris. Paris won 54-
Fasttalker
I did. I got some bad info, Paris won 54-49. Did Ashford play any at all?
Big Baller
Marcus Ashford didn’t play any tonight. Eric Johnson had 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes of the 1st quarter and didn’t score the 1st half. Aaron Maggard gave the Hounds a huge lift off the bench tonight. Jamaun Clark was unreal on defense, as was the entire team the 2nd half. Congrats to Paris and Coach Brooks.

Big Baller
Strings had a good game also. Johnson and Strings were the leading scorers for Paris tonight I’d say. Paris turned up the defensive pressure the 2nd half.

Paris turned up the defensive pressure the 2nd half. Thanks. The first time we played Paris we held Johnson scoreless 1st half and 8 for the game. But Strings went off for 29 points. Been a fan of his since then and keep up with him. Good ball player
Big Baller
Yes he is. Eric Johnson really got it going tonight the 2nd half. The kid can shoot the basketball.
bball89
Johnson sat all but the 1st 2 mins of the 1st half. He scored all 16 in the second half. I believe strings had 16 as well
Mustang
Tough loss for our guys who have flirted with the brass ring in our last two major outings, leading top-ranked Campbell County five minutes out, and in this one even-up with 2:48 to go and down only 1 with 1:12 to play in the game against the favored Paris Greyhounds. The Mustangs led 23-17 at the half when Zach Hamberg netted a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer. Paris took the lead at 29-27 but were turned back by the green-clads who maintained a 35-32 lead, as Eric Johnson returned the Hamberg halftime buzzer-beater with one of his own to bring his team to within a possession at the end of three quarters. Paris turned up the defensive intensity in the finale forcing several Mustangs turnovers and Brossart life-boat time-outs. A fatal series of events in the final minute and a half allowed the Hounds to take the lead, force a turnover that led to a basket and then hit their free throws to punch their ticket to the 10th Region "A" Championship game where they will be heavily favored to repeat as 10th Region Champions. Zach Hamberg knocked down five (5-11) 3-pointers to lead the Stangs with 15 points. J.D. Schumacher and Bryce Donnelly netted 9 points each. Hamberg and Donnelly were named All-Tournament and Aaron Bell All-Academic. Travis Strings and Eric Johnson shared scoring honors with 16 points each. Taleigh Adams contributed 12. Paris will play Robertson County, the Upper Bracket finalist in the Saturday night (weather gods permitting) at 8pm at Nicholas County High School. Oldercoach
It is a pure intellectics (new word I created to combine the power of intellectual and the beauty of athletics) delight to read Mustand's game wrap-ups. Please, keep them coming.
