Parochial school or not, any time a 1A school can beat a 6A school it says something.

Ill make this a Frisch's story. Since it was a childhood memory in 1977. Iron Horsemen leader, Moose, was killed in a gang fight with the Seven Sons. He was buried in Ft. Thomas. Anyway, I was in the old Frisch's in Ft. Thomas eating with my mother when the funeral procession went by. I guess about 300 bikers. The whole building shook. The plates, silverware and glasses rattled. It was etched into my memory.

I go with the Buddy Boy, but order it on grilled Texas Toast. That and a bowl of chili! OMG!

I had the opportunity to meet him at a mutual friends bachelor party. He was sporting his Super Bowl ring and was letting everyone there handle it and try it on. it was unreal how large this mans hands and fingers were. I would say you could pass a half dollar coin through it easily.

Tim Carver was the first "official" coach of the Mustangs. He was hired but then the Diocese got involved and he was let go. Then Charlie Coleman was the next coach and lasted about a week into summer practice. Then, I believe that Coach Ollier took over. Brossart had three head coaches before they even took a snap. Rough start to say the least.

Even though it doesn’t tell the whole story, can someone post some stats.

Instead of spending money for a football field on the hill, how about a little money to fix the HVAC?

Starts today. The Newport Lex Cath game should be a real good one. Will have to get there early to nab a parking spot.

I had a great dinner tonight. Grilled salmon, kale, rice pilaf, and roasted cauliflower.

I hate the location. The artists concepts looks great though. I would have like to see them build on St Mary property. There is a bowl shape piece of land sitting just to the west side of the church toward 27 that would have fit a field and stands very nicely.

Blackburn was huge tonight. Took over the game. They pounded the Tigers. However, Ludlow coaches and administrators should be embarrassed by their personal fouls. I would guess about 10 or so. What has turned into a good season, is marred by the play on the field. I guess the coach has no control. The community certainly can not be proud of that. Good luck the rest of the year and in hosting a playoff game.

Id take Ludlow in this one too, but not sure with the QB being hurt. That closes the gap for Bellevue.

This is the first of two between the neighborhood rivals this year. Only bragging rights in this one. The paddle and district game will be later in the season.

I don't see this 7-7 having any affect on the reg season. A McMillen coached team does not rely on the pass.

Campbell's stadium is horrible. The entrance, concession and patio is too small for a big school. It gets way too congested there. Field looks great though and I love the video board. But horrible for amenities. They should look to Dixie or Scott for fan comfort.

Agree. For a finale it was very underwhelming.

He does have challenges. Nobody can deny that. That is what separates the exceptional/great coaches and the mediocre coaches. Exceptional coaches find a way. They successfully recruit their hallways. They find the offense and defense that work for their personnel. They make halftime adjustments that work. Mediocre coaches do none of these. What category does Coach Montgomery fall into? He is not achieving past the problems. he is not building a program.
