They ended the year with less than 18 that could take the field. Hopefully they get healthy and stay that way this year.

They have a big and experienced junior class and a few seniors that will help. The turn out this year has been better than in the past few years. If kids remain healthy and eligible, I look for 2-3 more wins this season over last.

Always welcome at davis field. I am optimistic about the upcoming season. We are solid up front and in the middle. Lack of speed may be an issue, but it sounds like we have a couple of nice surprises in the backfield. Upcoming 7 on 7 vs. holmes should be interesting.

I think they ended up beating bellevue in 7 on 7, which is somewhat significant considering what Bellevue has done to them the past 2 years. Get 2 cracks at them this year.

Who did bellevue have at QB? I know they graduated a large class including top WR, RB, and their QB.

Not sure who it was. I just know it wasn't one of the 2 from past 2 seasons, both of whom were really good I thought.

I believe Dayton did end up winning by a couple scores. The QB for Dayton I heard did very well as well as there defence. Bellevue loosing alot will hurt them this coming season.

I don't see this 7-7 having any affect on the reg season. A McMillen coached team does not rely on the pass.

I agree. I asked because I was hearing word that QB depended on which offense they would run. Bellevue will likely be a run heavy team, though they will be a large underclassman filled team. The Dayton- Bellevue rivalry should remain a great one this season.
