HammerTime
Just so we are clear on Jerry Jones... Greg Hardy who assaulted a woman is a leader and can play for his team. Kneeling for the Anthem is crossing the line though.

Voice of Reason
People can protest however they want. It is America. If players want to kneel during the anthem, that is their choice. If people want to boycott the NFL and/or their advertisers, that is their choice. If you believe one group has the right to do their protest, then you shouldn't be outraged at another group's protest.

jericho
Lets be clear about this too. Jerry Jones OWNS the team and HE can make RULES for HIS team. Does Wal Mart have rules, does CBS have rules of personal conduct? The NFL does NOT own Dallas.

jericho
Thanks for clearing that up. Doesn't make him any less miserable of a human. Hey, I hate the guy. But it is his team. If he can fire Tom Landry or Jimmy Johnson, he can fire anyone.
GrantNKY
Lets be clear about this too. Jerry Jones OWNS the team and HE can make RULES for HIS team. Does Wal Mart have rules, does CBS have rules of personal conduct? The NFL does NOT own Dallas. And this is why Dallas will never win another super bowl as long as Jerry is calling the shots. Nobody wants to play for that guy.
theguru
I think Jerry's stance is what most NFL owners believe privately.
