Depth must have played a huge factor very late. I followed the updates on this throughout most and Russellville was only down six at the end of the third quarter.

Wasn't the best Refed game I've seen, but the Cats got the job done in the 4th. Depth helps tons in Games like this

Congrats to FS! Hope to see a big matchup between FS and Johnson Central in about a month! Now that Russellville is no longer undefeated that leaves how many undefeated teams in 1A? Oh I know! 1!!

Good job Russellville. This game sounds a bit like Beechwood's only loss to Covington Catholic. Beechwood was right there with Cov Cath but the longer the game went on the more Cov Cath took control.

It looks like the Beechwood vs. Russellville game could be quite the battle if both teams get there.

Any doubts about Russellville due to their schedule evaporated tonight. This is a good football team. Athletically talented and well coached.

The game was much closer than the final score shows.

It was tied 7-7 with 2 minutes to go in the third quarter. 13-7 at the end of the 3rd.

Looking forward to seeing Russellville and Franklin advance in the playoffs. Both have had a fantastic year!

Russellville played with a lot of energy and emotion in the first half but just ran out of gas in the 2nd half. Good luck to both teams. Hopefully they both will be a state champions.

Did you attend the game?

Don't believe you had to on this one. Sounds like a typical good 1A team vs a good 4A team! Can't stay near as fresh as a 4A down the stretch but if you have enough talent and toughness you can hang and possibly prevail! Not saying Russellville isn't a great 1A football team but make no mistake! The 1A title WILL remain in the EAST For yet another year! Even though Beechwood will make it awful tough in BG!
