  1. Well the last 2 weren't. FS outscored ACS 74-0 in the 2 meetings this season
  2. Currently, Both the Franklin-Simpson girls and boys team are 5-0 in district play and can go 6-0 in district play when they both play the Russellville Panthers at home. The last time that was done was the 2007-2008 season. FS girls went on to lose the state championship game 58-57 to butler and the boys lost in the opening round of the regional tournament.
  3. Franklin Simpson's Josiah Robey signed with Cincinnati, however, i haven't seen UC add him to their recruiting class. FS had a big signing ceremony for him and Cole Kirby
  4. Completely agree. I didn't think FS got to the FT line enough at all and Payne probably wasn't the best player to get the ball to.
  5. Franklin more or less shot themselves in the foot alot in that 4th quarter. Honestly FS probably shouldve won this one had they hit their FTs
  6. At one point, it really looked like FS was gonna run away with it until FS did get sloppy and allowed BG back in it. Amazing crowd at Wildcat Gym. I really hope these 2 play again, more then likely Region championship @ WKU. Disappointing as a Cats fan, Overall WHAT A GAME!
  7. I always hear of the great games that FS and BG have played in the past in football and basketball. As I said before, Great that these two old rivals are finally playing
  8. The Purples and the Wildcats will be facing off for the 2nd time this season after a close game in the meijer holiday classic which BG won 55-42. Who will win the 2nd meeting when the purples take the short drive down 31-W to play the wildcats in the hostile Wildcat Gym?
  9. Franklin-Simpson is definitely a Football school, however with the recent basketball success fans have came out in droves at times like last years district title game, to watch the cats play. But as we all saw this past season FS is most definitely a football school
  10. Very interesting. It sounds like nobody wants to play BG anymore
  11. Congrats to JC. Dominated the game. However, it seemed to me that FS didn't even want to be there half the time. FS is a much better team then what was shown tonight.
  12. I Just don't see this being a blowout. Both have fantastic defenses and pretty good offenses. Will be a battle for sure. Definitely home field advantage as well for FS being 20 minutes away from BG. I expect a close tough out of a game come Sunday. First 20 I think.
  13. It felt like a home game for Franklin-Simpson. FS probably could've won by more and the JH TD was kinda lucky. FS has the players to win state
  14. Give me FS in this one. FS pretty much dominated a really good John Hardin team and missed 2 chances to score more and the JH score was kinda lucky. I say FS wins #3 35-31
  15. Luckily FS doesn't turn the ball over Much, while their defense gets turnovers a lot.
  16. You can't really use a game called at halftime, in week 2, as an example to say FS will struggle. FS dominated a SW team that has a few Div-1 athletes on it. If FS keeps doing what they have been doing, then FS is gonna be making the short drive to BG next week.
  17. FS strength on defense is the defensive line... Nobody has successfully ran the ball against that line. FS D-Line should continue to dominate
  18. Franklin-Simpson offense can hit you in many ways on offense, as we saw both times vs SW, and defense for them is their strong suit. I don't know much about JH, but should be a good game 35-21FS
  19. FS is rolling right now as well. Out scored SW 26-9 in the 2nd half
  20. Cats took over in the 2nd half. Out scoring SW 26-9. Great Game by the Cats!! JC-FS championship seems inevitable at this point
