The Golden Eagles just won the Regional Championship 51-0. Are they the favorite in Class 4A?

I have been anticipating a FS-JC final. Hope this happens. Gonna be a whale of a game.

Johnson Central and Franklin-Simpson on a collision course and both think they are the best team, WKY thinks F-S, EKY thinks JC.

 

All I will say is this is perhaps the most well rounded JC team I have seen them field.

They made it to the finals last year, they have pretty much killed everyone this year. Do you think they are the favorite? They sure seem to be to most of us.

Not having seen the other teams remaining in their way, I'm not going to say. But having watched this team for years, this is easily there best yet. They have no glaring weakness on offense or defense. One thing that could bite them down the road is they don't have the ability to pin teams deep as they did with Pack handling the kicking duties.

I've got family that lives in JC and one is a coach for them. Just going by what he said tonight afterwards, taking it one game at a time. As a former coach myself, I tend to agree with that statement. I will say this though, JC is at least 2 or 3 scores better this season compared to last. Most importantly, they are all healthy unlike last season when the QB/FS was playing on a torn PCL and couldn't move and both starting RBs were banged up.

Never said that. I'm just saying that ppl following JC for years know that their passing game in years past has left something to be desired. I can't say that this year.

But, once again, I said I haven't seen FS, JH, or Wayne Co. play this year. All I'll say is this isn't the JC team that went to BG last year. And as Elliot Stabler mentioned earlier and most importantly, this team is a lot more healthy to this point than they were the year before.
