Currently, Both the Franklin-Simpson girls and boys team are 5-0 in district play and can go 6-0 in district play when they both play the Russellville Panthers at home. The last time that was done was the 2007-2008 season. FS girls went on to lose the state championship game 58-57 to butler and the boys lost in the opening round of the regional tournament.
