HC was down 21 to 14 at the half, it was a 15 point game going in to the 4th. The defense after a pretty poor 3 quarters of football made a few big plays and let the red hot offense win this game. It was awesome and we are very proud of aour guys for absolutely never quiting.

Maybe the biggest win for Henry in the school's history. Don't know of a more exciting game for Henry, ever. Wildcats scored the last 18 points of the game coming back from 42-27 in the final quarter. Dylan Doll nails a field goal @ 16 seconds remaining for the final margin. Anderson made a couple of "hail Marys" that were knocked down by Henry County to end game. Henry QB Luke Magness had over 400 yards passing. Receivers were getting open and making catches and good runs. Run game was solid. Defense finally took care of business in the 4th quarter. One interesting note: there were no turnovers in this game. A total effort from Henry against a good Anderson County team. Henry's crowd was impressive and into the game. This team doesn't know what the word quit means. They fought for 48 minutes and prevailed in the end. Second win vs. a 5A school this season, both on the road. On to Owensboro Catholic next Friday for another of what I'm sure will be a battle. Go Cats, keep the faith!!

Biggest win for Henry County this decade. Great to see the Wildcats continuing to build their program, one step at a time. Billy Martin turned the program around and got the Wildcats back on the winning track. Chris Engstrand took it a step further, and Henry began making legitimate noise in the 3A playoffs. But this is the first time Henry has beaten a strong school from the 5A / 6A ranks this decade...

As Anderson had a 15 point lead with about 7 minutes to play on their home field, this makes this win even more impressive.

Kudos to the Wildcats and best of luck the rest of 2010!:thumb:
