They may be the 7th best team in NKY, maybe 8th depending on what they do against St. Henry, (Boone, Ryle, NDA, NCC, Conner, Walton)nevertheless, always a good year when you can win 20 in a season. Congrats!

Nice feel good story this year but let's be realistic. With Moss and Crittendon leading Boone and Ryle respectfully, Conner's chances of getting out of the district this year are slim and none. The future looks bright in Hebron though.

I do not think it matters in this district. I think all three county teams are capable of beating Boone on a neutral floor(Conner) It is tough to beat a team three times, especially a county rival. Look for the 1 vs. 4 matchup to go to the wire.

I believe Boone and Cooper still have to play for a second time so it depends on this game. (Boone at Cooper 2/10) If Boone wins, then yes. If Cooper pulls the upset then it goes like this 1. Boone 2. Cooper 3. Conner 4. Ryle

Conner is very good this year and much improved. I agree with you future coach. I just do not see them beating Boone or Ryle this year in district tourney. Just my opinion, but that is why they play the games.

NCC is a contender because of Ron Dawn- period. I do not care what happen in regular season. Best girls coach in 9th in my opinion.

4 teams can win the region. Boone, ND, Ryle and NCC. The others will not be a factor. No offense to Conner, Highlands or St. Henry but that is the way it will go

No doubt Homer, they have a great program, and great coaches but just pointing out that recent history suggests they have not lived up to preseason expectations. However, this may be the year the trend changes.

How is this district playing out? What do the seeds look like for playoffs?

If Dixie wins, they could still be playing for the district championship next week at home vs. Ryle. If they lose, they could be taking the bus ride to Trinity. If SK loses, they are taking the bus ride to Trinity. Alot to play for on Friday night. This is the most interesting game of the week.

Does anyone know or care to guess if Conner will choose to rest Barker this week against Ryle and if so who goes under center????

On-side kick occurred with just over 8 minutes to go in the 4th quarter after SK cut lead to 14-6. Very strange play call when your defense was playing pretty well after the first 4 minutes of game. Ryle then drove 1/2 the field to put game away. 3 team race in 6A. SK and Campbell will be playing to avoid the Rocks in the first round.

Why would those guys leave their current varsity head job for the Scott job? Both would be taking a step down in my opinion. No disrespect to Scott.

ESPN said that Colerain's enrollment is around 1800, I would guess that Ryle's enrollment is around 1650 so not as big a difference as people may think (if the Colerain number is accurate)

I am sure there will be plenty of interest. A nice opportunity to get to state out of the 8th region. Good luck to Coach Finn as he moves on. Although he never won that elusive regional title, Finn won alot of ball games at SK.

Dixie should get better week to week but Highlands will win but not by the margin some are suggesting on here.

Whoever said it well OK, but how many NKY teams would even think about playing Colerain this year? I think noone. Kudos to Coach Warner for taking on the challenge

How good is Tates Creek suppose to be this year? Is this an impressive win in 6A or pretty much expected?
