Is Ryle still the favorite in NKY?

^ Hard to say. Obviously lost a lot when Elliott went down, but still had enough to get past offensively-challenged SK.

He was in the state finals just a few years ago. Really?

Is the ship still afloat?

Ryle didn't play too well. SK beat themself again, running the ball under 3 minutes to play.

Sure, it is floating around but it is severely under powered...

Ryle looked like they had a small team maybe 50 players. SK was minus 3 starters for breaking team rules. It is a long season Sk has plenty of time to get it going.

But will they ? That is the $64 question .

Congratulations to the Raiders.

I don't think so.

In 08 SK was 4-4 and made it to the state finals. Anything is possible.

^Miles Simspon isn't walking through the door.

Good lord. Just once can you admit that SK isn't the best team in the country and maybe just maybe they were beat by a better team.

SK came out flat and Ryle punched them in the gut to go up 14. A GL stand on 4th and 2 kept it from getting away early. SK tightened up after that and only yielded 260yds to the Raiders but the offense once again sputtered time and time again. Swanson being out didn't help their passing attack tonight but they still had a shot late in the game.

Didn't fully understand the decision to on-side kick with 3:47 left since Ryle really didn't do much offensively in the 2nd half. Nice blocked punt by Krallman, he looks like a good one for a soph. During that play SK's Chase Wilson attempted to block Mac Vollett from Ryle and it looked like a Semi hitting a deer on the expressway. Vollett trucked him and never missed a step, it was an blowup shot for sure.

Powell held to less than 80 yards tonight and that's not good since he's proven to be the key to the SK offense. I would love to see him tote the rock without using both hands at all times, I think it really limits what he can do in the open field. Reminds me of hitting the X button on Madden at all times.
