I thought 1 vs 1 (in this case Camels and Lafayette) couldn't meet until week 3?

Rebels lost 6 fumbles I believe. Were down 13-0 half-way through first quarter and MC was stopped on 4th & 3 at about the BC 5. HUGE stand by the defense! Kam Schwartz had a big game running one in from about 20 yards out on 4th down & throwing 2 TD's including the winning 25yd TD to Thompson w/ 13 seconds left. The Rebel defense came up large on the drive before the final score pushing MC back. Ganster was huge w/ 2 sacks on the final drive forcing a punt on 4th & 43. Great win for BC!

 

Prayers for #58 for MC. He left by ambulance after a head or neck injury. I hope he is okay. It was very scary & sobering.

Just read a tweet on MCHS football website said that Jacob Hensley (#58) is up and walking. As happy as I am with the Boone win, this is the best news of the night by far! Prayers for his continued recovery.

No. 18 Boone Co. 28, Madison Central 21: Hunter Stocker ran for a touchdown and threw for another to put the Indians in front 13-0 and in position for an upset, but the Rebels (7-4) rallied for the win on the road.

Kameron Schwartz threw two TD passes, including the game-winner to Bryson Thompson, with 13 seconds left. Schwartz also ran for a 19-yard touchdown.

Dominique Hawkins ran for 73 yards, including a 39-yard TD for Madison Central.

Stocker finished with 144 passing yards and was sacked four times.

Good for Kam. I met his dad when I was a teenager and always liked him. Always smiling. Hopefully, Kam picked that trait up as well.
