This thread is ridiculous. There have been plenty of quality QBs in the Boone County Schools over the years.

St Henry has had some good teams and players over the years with numerous trips to the 9th Region Tourney. My question is have they ever made it to the 9th Region Finals? Anyone?

District at Conner this year. And just because St. Henry is likely the two seed in the 34th doesn't mean they can't win the district. Confused on what Cord of Wood was saying in previous post.

Is NCC that much of a favorite over Ryle? Conner handled NCC by 11 not to long ago and Ryle beat them 3 times

Those that think Conner is going to win this game do you think that Conner is better than CCH?

I know they have been alternating them all year but why play multiple QB's and alternating them every series. I would think it would be hard for each QB to get in a rhythm. Racke was really good against Ryle last year and not taking anything away from Shearer but not going with one or the other I think hurts SK against really good teams.

I definitely think Ryle had a legitimate shot at winning state in 2010. They beat a good Highlands team that year and advanced to Thanksgiving weekend losing at home to Trinity 28-9. Game was 7-3 Trinity at half. Trinity went on to beat Male 38-0 in the final. Male played Scott Co. in the other semifinal who lost to Boone Co. in the regular season. Ryle beat Boone by 3 TD's that year. Take Trinity and Male out of the equation that would have left a Scott Co vs. Ryle final and i would have liked Ryle's chances in that one. The Raiders finished 12-2 with only loss in regular season at Highlands. (played them twice home and away)

Unless they are coming out to broadcast on Friday night, No TV. Game is Friday not Saturday. Star 64 asked Ryle to move the game to Saturday for TV and Ryle said no due to Homecoming

Final was 41-28 Ryle. Game was close entire way. Ryle got a pick 6 on 4th down late to seal it. QB for Conner was Hicks #7. Nice player. They played 10 minute quarters which may explain the high scoring game which took close to 2 1/2 hours to play. Thought NKY freshman played 8 minute quarters

Game is at Ryle this year so that will definitely help the Raiders. Do not know where the possible playoff rematch will be however

I agree with what is being said here recently Beechwood held their ace in first round. Highlands held their ace back against St Henry as well. You play to win the tournament not to win 1 game

One solution is to have the district winners host a first round game on Monday and then have the semi finals and finals at one location. That way you give a bigger incentive and reward for being district champ and host school only has to host three games.

Again 9th region coaches need to get together and draw up a new plan. It falls on their shoulders. What schools in the 9th can legitimately host a regional tournament? I would say it is a very short list. And are those schools willing to do it?

Come on. It is not Villa's fault on this. Obviously it is a problem at NKU hosting anything on Monday I would guess. What is the big deal with two played on Monday and then 2 on Tuesday? This is Softball where they play multiple games in one day at state tourney. Assuming it is Villa's fault because they stepped up to host is very short sided by some on here. Everything is fair. The impartial draw will determine what day you play and where. St Henry has a nice facility for Softball. If coaches have a problem with it they should have figured it out long before now. Basketball draw is same way. Some play on back to back days some have a day off. This isn't baseball
