  1. That list is a misprint. Stephen Mason was first team and one of the leading vote getters
  2. Teams that rely on perimeter scoring are bound to lose games every now and then. To be consistent you have to have a post game to get high percentage points. I think Montgomery is very good, probably just cold. It happens. Harrison could make them pay because of their size
  3. Got a little rough. The saints did a great job keeping their composure and beating flemings pressure, not so good from the line though. Big win on senior night
  4. Hang in there lady saints, there's a lot of ball to be played
  5. Deming matches up well with Pendleton. Give Deming credit
  6. Agreed. They don't get much more consistent than Stephen Mason. Puts up numbers every night no matter who they play
  7. I heard it was cancelled for today, to be rescheduled Monday
  8. Seriously, we don't need to go there.
  9. I think he gets a lot of "love" on here. What do you want?
  10. Yeah punish Montgomery for having a great season and have them play Mason in round one, and let Pendleton and Augusta play in the first to have a chance to get to the finals. Makes no sense. Every tournament should be seeded. This will probably get me booed out of here but I don't care. It makes no sense. Wouldn't it be fun to see the best two teams in the region in the final? If there is going to be a major upset wouldn't it be just as fun to see it early in the tourney, and see a magical run by one of these underdogs?
  11. He has been able to concentrate on education while scoring these 2,000, and I believe he will continue to do that while he's playing in college. Congrats to Chris, it is hard for someone as unselfish as he is to score 2,000. Unbelievable. A legendary career.
  12. Chris Owens called for traveling on four separate occassions. There was a flagrant foul on the tip!
  13. How did officiating determine the outcome of that game? FYI the players involved in that were JV guys working hard to defend the break, and they felt horrible about the boy getting hurt.
  14. Another tournament with no seeding. Makes no sense. Oh well.
  15. This is fact, the year J'town won the state title, every game at the state tourney the team that shot the most three pointers LOST. J'town took alot of high percentage shots. Thats why they won the State Tournament. Guards are great but u have to have some size!!!! If u look back to the last 5 state tourney's I bet over 90 % of all games at the state the team that has shot the most three's have lost. Do the research.
  16. It's a big man's game. If you have a dominant big man you will win more often than if you have dominant guards. Reason: higher percentage shots, fewer shot attempts for the other team, and fewer high percentage shots for the other team. Unfair? Absolutely. Fact? Absolutely.
  17. :dancingpa:dancingpa Best argument period. Drawing makes no sense! Why make luck such a huge factor when, at least in this situation, it can be eliminated?:dancingpa
  18. What could the other intentions be? To run up a score on a St. Pat freshman team? Does anyone really get all that excited about the outcome of freshman and jv games? They are for development, are they not? The program is judged by the varsity product period, so absolutely he should be allowed to play, especially in that circumstance, of preparing for the Frosh tourney. I dont think anyone at St. Pat would argue that. I could see some circumstances in larger schools where this could be problematic, but not in this one.
  19. Yeah, that is ridiculous. I know it wasn't planned to work that way, but it seems these teams play each other WAY too much.
