I know, I was really rooting for them to make it this year, but they got a tough draw. This is exactly why the 39th district tournament should be seeded, but oh well. Still a great accomplishmne to go along with a tremendous career. :thumb:

Congratulations to Chris Owens. It's a shame he and Anderson never experienced a regional tournament in their accomplished high school careers. Good luck to both in the future.

Someone stated in another thread that he was going to concentrate on his education and would not play basketball. Is this true?

Bittersweet night for Chris Owens and the Saints.

 

Congratulations on the accomplishment!!! Very well deserved.

 

I'm sure that Chris would trade every one of them in for the win over the Royals. But reality being what it is, the Saints finish a star-crossed season, and Chris Owens and Nick Anderson close out illustrious careers which they will remember fondly for the rest of their lives.

 

After some down time I really hope that Owens re-thinks his college basketball career. He would be a perfect fit at a Transy or Centre type college.

 

I've enjoyed watching Chris and Nick play their careers and wish them nothing but the best in the future.

I know he came and watch Transy one or twice. I agree he would be a nice fit for Transy and they could use a scorer like him.
