St Pat won 60-54.

Got a little rough. The saints did a great job keeping their composure and beating flemings pressure, not so good from the line though. Big win on senior night

Wow I read the other thread I have never heard anything so crazy in my life. Was that a play sent in by the coach or did the kid just take it upon himself to do that? What would the call be if the official had seen that, you have the hand check so would that be a lip check?

 

There is something seriously wrong with a program that would do something like this and in my opinion its across most of the sports in that system its not just boys basketball.

After reading the newspaper sounds like a "Home Court Advantage" with the foul differential. Maybe the refs got caught up in the senior nite emotion too.

Its possible that there was home court advantage, but after reading some other threads it is more likely that Fleming was a more physical team that drew more fouls. Obviously some fouls were of a nature to considered technicals so I think emotions were running high for both teams. However it looks as if St Pat used the emotion to score and not foul. I read another thread that was suggested earlier and I do believe Fleming would do whatever to win including kissing so I don't think its without reason to believe that they would be physical as well.

Anytime the home team shoots more free throws anymore there is sure to be some fans questioning the officials and complaining about home cooking. Perhaps it's one team playing more physical or playing smarter. Sounds as if the Saints shot a few free throws due to technicals. You can't pick up what really happened from a box score.
