  1. Congratulations and good luck to both teams. Who else is in their district? I'm too lazy to look about it myself.
  2. Just curious. Does anyone want to share thoughts on good soccer players who aren't necessarily from dominant teams? There must be some. Has anyone seen any?
  3. Thanks for the explanation, I just wondered why they were different. I think that's a good thing.
  4. Congratulations to all of the girls; but why are the girls split into 3 teams, whilst the boys have all 15 on one "All-Region" team? Just curious if anyone can explain this.
  5. I'll take Mason. Maybe they're on a roll. However, Bracken does always seem to do well at home in the big games. Good luck!
  6. Hats off to Coach Douglas and the Lady Saints who've worked hard over the years. I'm sorry your season didn't end the way you wanted it to. I've heard a great deal of complaining about Coach Lindsey, and I'll admit I don't know much about her... but her team won when it mattered. Their previous wins and losses don't amount to much now. They live to fight another day.
  7. I didn't participate in the prediction thread, but I was surprised by this outcome. Congratulations Pendleton County! Good luck to both teams on Monday. This is what I find interesting, and it speaks volumes about where a team is in March(when it matters): 2010-2011 Regular Season Pendleton 59, Augusta 61 Pendleton 50, Bracken 68 Pendleton 42, Mason 67 Mason 67, Pendleton 42 Mason 66, Bracken 39 Mason 72, Augusta 45 2010-2011 Regional Tournament Pendleton 60, Mason 56
  8. Then why post this thread?
  9. Is this your idea of a joke?
  10. Thank you, thank you, thank you!:thumb: As to concessions, it's hard work, and a thankless job. But if you're hosting an event of this magnitude you should offer more variety. I know from my experience, we plan for tournaments differently than we do regular games.
  11. I'm not getting in the middle of this one, but I have a question: Why can't the student sections be assigned to the areas behind their own benches? Wouldn't that take care of some of this?
  12. I don't believe that you can correctly say that I took anything out of context. I pretty much gave the entire direct quote, without omitting anything. I'm not trying to manipulate the information; I know exactly what I heard. And whether he was serious or not, I think it was inappropriate to say this on the radio about a kid. By the way, the player you mentioned isn't even the one I'm referring to. Different game against a different school. So, either you're a bit confused about what you heard, or maybe it's been said before more than one game. Either way, you're incorrect, and not really in a position to call someone else's post "ridiculous".
  13. :thumb: A few weeks ago, I heard the man say live on a WFTM pre-game show that he had been hoping that one of the opposing team's better players would "turn an ankle on the ice on her way into the gym" that night, and "unfortunately, she didn't, so..." blah, blah blah. :irked: So why should anyone be suprised or upset by his behavior during the games? Congratulations to Mason County girls for being in the 10th region as 39th district champions, and good luck to Keller Menke in her college career.:thumb:
  14. Definitely wasn't the referees. And you weren't keeping the clock this time, so it couldn't be you, either. Congratulations to Mason, good luck in the rest of your season.
