This has been brought up unappropriately on other threads, so thought would just start one with a title. Could we get some chilli cheese nachos, hamburgers, pork tenderloin sandwiches or ANYTHING besides a cold sliver of pizza or salty unbuttered porcorn in the greatest regional tournament in the state(in my opinion)? I mean come on, I lot of us basketball fans will be sitting for 3 hours plus tonight and tommorrow night on a wooden bench with basically no food. Put my nit pickyness aside, this would be a cash cow(not that they need it) for Mason County, they could pay for all of the many improvements needed on the baseball field, etc. just from nachos and cheese and pork tenderloin sandwiches. What say you?

 I'm with you on that one! Not to mention the fact that quite a few fans will attend the regional tournament three or four nights! A better variety would be great!

I hear ya! They really should have better concessions there. I still believe Breathitt County's dome has the best concession stand. Funnel Cakes, hot dogs, and such, but mainly great Funnel Cakes. As regional play heats up, who else has a great Concession stand?

It's called eating before the game.:idunno:

So all the Mason fans that were complaining about the price of concessions last year at BOK really don't buy anything anyway.:idunno:

Wow, didn't realize that. Guess I need to start doing that before movies, Reds games, any place that I go out too.

Surprising - I thought Mason County was supposed to have written the book on hosting regional tournaments. Atmosphere and amenities trump a building most of the time - even with all those seats if the fans aren't happy, they aren't doing a good job.

I was a little taken back by the roping off of the floor at half-time - any explanation?

Probably to keep the unattended children from using it to play on.

Thou shalt not walk on the hallowed floor. I thought everyone knew that commandment.:lol:

That is great if you live in Mason Co. Us that have to drive 1 to 1 1/2 hours, yes I drive the speed limit, don't have the time before the game. We play at 6:30. I agree with the poster that stated that as long as Mason Co has been hosting the tourney, you would have thought this would have been addressed long ago.

Close. As I said in another thread, it's found in Exodus 20:17...

...You shall not covet your neighbor's Fieldhouse...

And a little variety at the concession stand wouldn't be a bad idea, in my opinion. One less little thing for folks to gripe about. I'm guessing that the Mason County athletic director might be a person to ask; he's at every game.
