jonathan.fraysure Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=144148 Draw will be held for both the boys and the girls Friday at Bracken County High School at 10am.
mcpapa Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 That's when we will see who draws the short blue straw...
mhighfield Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=144148 Thanks.
jonathan.fraysure Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 At Bracken County: First Round February 25, 8 pm: Bracken County vs. Augusta February 26, 8 pm: Mason County vs. St. Patrick Championship February 28, 8 pm: Winners
LIVINGOUTADREAM Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 St. Patrick could not have gotten a worse draw and for Anderson and Owens, 4 years potentially without playing in a regional tournament would be a injustice to a couple of great players. Best of luck to all teams.
LIVINGOUTADREAM Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Robin has a chance to triple A-Town to the regional tournament again!
AHSPanther23 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 ^ I agree, but Augusta can not over look Bracken.
coacharn21 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Another tournament with no seeding. Makes no sense. Oh well.
playmaker 3 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I agree with you coacharn21. St Pat is the second best team in the district and they got to play the number 1 team. It make no sense
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I really do feel bad for the St Pat seniors. With that said, I can imagine the Royals have been looking forward to the playoffs since that nightmare last year. Bring it on darnit. :fight:
U Reach I Teach Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 People need to get over the seeding issue. Its not going to happen and will not happen (voted on today) in the near future. It is not beneficial for Augusta or Mason County to seed. Augusta because more times then not they are going to be the #4 seed, so take the random draw (which has been good to them the past two years) and Mason County would have to play home and aways with each other district team. Thats 6 games on their schedule that doesn't benefit them. That takes away games with Catholic, Scott County, and other teams that can better prepare them for a state run.
LIVINGOUTADREAM Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I agree with you coacharn21. St Pat is the second best team in the district and they got to play the number 1 team. It make no sense There was 2 separate draws I heard that was held today, one for the boys and one for the girls. In the past, the boys and girls combined the draws and played girls/boy double headers. Today that was voted down and St. Patrick boys got the short end of the stick. If things were left alone like the past, they get Bracken. The beauty of the blind draw is the only way for this district.
