Could someone help me with these rumors I'm hearing about St. Pat not paying the coaches position.......

Have not heard that. Heard that a position that former coach, Jason Hinson had, was done away with due to the tough economic times!

Jason Hinson is the coach at St. Patrick and will be the Elementary Athletic Director next year.

As you can clearly see, I said that I heard that the position had been done away with. Never once said it had been done away with. Glad to hear he has the coaching position, thought he did a nice job.

Why so much interest in the Bracken County job if he has a job at St. Patrick and is happy there? Is it the lure to coach at his alma mater?

Truth is Jason Hinson will be retained as head coach and elem athletic director.... but P.E. was cut... no big deal according to my sources.

^ I would expect it to be a big deal if his pay was cut.

Hard for me to believe that all the Millionaires in Maysville and they cut his job, Is this just politics in motion, Im sure he will get in some where "soon" ,

Has Hinson found a job outside of elementary AD and head coach? What is sad is that he gave up a pretty good job to go and be the head coach and pursue an education. It would seem to me that they could find a way not to cut his job in the school.

Rumors are he found a job at Augusta schools, not for sure how accurate that is!

He found a job at Augusta and is still going to be the Head Coach of a arch rival at St Patrick!!!!:eek::eek:

True that they cut his position as PE teacher. Offered him to stay on as head coach, but no one can survive with a family on that salary. Coach Hinson has some things in the works. Only time will tell.

Jason will the the associate head coach next season and working for the Augusta school system. He has no more association with St. Patrick school.

Very Tough loss for St. Pat.

Does Associate Coach at Augusta pay more than Head Coach at St. Patrick and AD of the elementary? Find that extremely hard to believe.

Yes, when you also have a teaching position which he no longer had at St. Patrick.
