Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) found guilty of recruiting
Ok! Thanks for clearing that up.

2008 Beechwood
If that is Slusher, then he was there today. I talked to him. I don't think he lined up under center today. Daniels got a lot of the snaps today. If not Slusher then who.

2008 Highlands
Is this the same Newman family that works for the Enquirer? I have been seeing quite a few pics in the paper lately taken by a Newman. I agree with you that he was a force on JV. It just hasn't panned out for him on the Varsity level because of injuries. Hopefully he gets healthy and can compete this year. It will take a healthy one at that, because HHS has a ton of qaulity players lickin their chops to play.

Top Seniors in 2008
Brady Slusher at QB. That would be interesting. Not quite the fleet of foot as Elliott but I guess whatever works.
-
Highlands 6 Dixie 2
The thing is, Coach Johnson and Coach Brown switched baselines 3 games ago. All this small ball is from Brown. And it's working!

36 District Draw
That's correct!

Best Linebackers this year in NKY?
What is pretty good speed? 4.7/4.8! What?

Who Will Be HR King in No. Ky.
Yeah but they were at Highland Park. What 325 to right center.:rolleyes:Oh yeah, he still hit them 375+ feet so it doesn't matter. And for what it's worth, the one Jones hit against HHS at Bellevue, landed on 2nd base on other field. If you know Bellevue, that would be about 375 also. So not many fields holding those balls in for the doubters!

Top juniors in Nky
Yes you did!
-
Conner 8 Ryle 4
After watching the way Conner hit the ball against HHS and the way Ryle didn't hit against HHS, I for one saw this coming.
-
Bellevue 4 Highlands 3
Yes you would, but with some very nice hitting and fielding for Bellevue and some very untimely errors by Highlands, Highlands won't win too many like this one. If you make routine plays, then these games are in the win column!

Cov Cath Freshman Team:
Actually I heard just the opposite. I may be wrong though.
-
CovCath Spring football?
Who are all the football players that are playing baseball? BTW, he's one of yours! I know Isler and VanSant. Who else?
-
Boone County 15 Highlands 3
He gave up one monster of a homer to Farris in the first. Heard today that people working at the Ft. Thomas Swim Club found the ball at the bottom of the pool. It was a shot for sure!:scared:
-
Dixie 5 Campbell County 0
That's right! He played football 3 seasons ago for Scott's freshman team. I think he was the QB.
-
Henry Clay 12 Cov Cath 4
Are you kidding me. With all the talent they have down there, someone can step in and play one of those two positions. VanSant used to play some second and he's a pretty good former "kid". BTW, don't play the blame game with those in the know. Seeing right through that one. It's all working out anyway!

2007 Championship rings
What was the cost of Highlands rings? Was there an option to what type of metal? And did the school help pay for any?
-
Highlands spring football
Did he pitch any today? He pitch some on Monday and did very well.
-
Cov Cath 60 Highlands 56
Well you know what this means? Spring football starts Monday for HHS. Congrats Birds. How did Mitch Shover play tonight?
-
Johnson Central Penalized by KHSAA
You know what is sooo funny is that all the rules violations that they are alleged of didn't even work for them. What have they won on the football field. Not a State Championship!!! I guess if you are going to do it, then do it right.
-
Highlands Baseball
The third I was talking about was "Spring Break". But never mind.
-
Highlands Baseball
You are exactly correct, but you can't do all three. And it's the third that is the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!

Upcoming sophmores
Pretty sure that would be Becky Sue.

Highlands Baseball
I along with many more wish he(they) missed it as much also. I don't know about forcing, but encouraging may be the right word. Highlands isn't in the position to have top qaulity athletes not playing multiple sports because they want to concentrate on one because they feel they will be left behind on the field if they don't participate in other sports. HHS just doesn't have the numbers. It's just not true for the boys I'm talking about. It doesn't matter if they are in an extra 10 spring practices for them to progress to the next level. They are just that gifted and good for them. You may not agree with me but that's my opinion. I've been told before over and over that HHS wished there wasn't spring ball, because it does just that, takes away from spring sports, but they are not going to not participate if it's available either. I guess in time, parents and kids will figure it out.

Upcoming sophmores
In more ways than one. :lol:You kidding me Clark!!!
