CovCath Spring football?

Featured Replies

Hasn't been a peep about how its going. Has Coach B put a muzzle on things? Are the CovCath fans in the loose lips sinks ships mode? Is the Spirit dead? Is there no interest in spring football because of the baseball program? What gives?

Come on one of you CovCath fans, give us an update and let us know how things are going.

I'm curious as to how spring football is effecting baseball and vice versa?:D

First practice was yesterday and only missing about 7 players to baseball.

Team is bigger and faster

Their O line gets any bigger and they are going to look like Cinti St.X's O line.

With Isler playing baseball, who is getting the reps at QB?

SR YOUNG

JR ERPENBECK

So they will be getting most of thier practices in after spring break, or has Cov. Cath. already had spring break? Also, is the O-line mostly seniors and starters from last year? Just how big are they?

I was a little surprised at 7 players to baseball. For some reason I thought it would be fewer than that. Who are the 7?

No way they are as big as X's line. That would be getting up to MAC standards.

...or at least Beechwood's !!

Well I think of the seven only 1 is a returning starter the rest are sophomores and freshman. But the O-line is huge weighing in at about Tepe 260, Schadler 270, Connaughton 260, Morrison 245, and Frisch at 240. Tepe, Schadler, and Connaughton are all returning starters.

Who will be totin' the rock this year for CCH? I think that CCH lost their top two RBs from last year's team (Buckley and Furnish).

Will Deters, the third leading rusher from last year, will be the go to guy in the backfield. The question marks for the Colonels right now are the two slot positions.

Some people say that there are a few in comming sophomores that might start next year for the colonels. Any true on that.
