Will Deters, the third leading rusher from last year, will be the go to guy in the backfield. The question marks for the Colonels right now are the two slot positions.

Deglow is a very similar runner as Deters. He's more likely to run people over rather than make a move and go around them. CovCath is lacking the type of quick finesse back they have had the last few years like both the Buckley's, Furnish, and Brandon Brown.

Zane Rowland is one of the kids who has never played football before. He is actually a swimmer with scholorship offers from many colleges. He is a big and fast kid who will definately be a project player.

He is a catcher.

This team will be bigger, but it is hard for me to see that they will be faster. They lose a lot of speed from Buckley,Furnish,Schnieder,Fagel, and Tibbs. I don't see a homerun threat on Offense other than Michael Robinson and Pat Van Sant, who will be playing a lot of defense. Hopefully some sophomores will step up and make a big impact on the offense side of the ball.

With their O line, they won't need speed. Its going to be a steady diet of power football I forecast. And the power game will match up well against Highlands speed based, 3-5 D. 3 yds and a cloud of pelvetized rubber.
