He did not have 15 k's but he pitched a great game. He was consistent 87 and has a couple nasty pitches. He had some great plays in the field behind him.

Robert Bell pitched for Clark while Ryan Durbin got the win for the Breds. Just curious as to why Clark would throw there best pitcher against them in the regular season if they plan on seeing them again in the region.

Senior shortstop and pitcher for the Harrison County thorobreds, Jared Martin, has signed to play baseball for The University of The Cumberlands. Jared had several division one looks and got many coaches attention after the display he has put on this year but he decided to attend a smaller school to help his chances in playing right of the bat. Jared is a wonderful student, leader, and baseball player and I wish him nothing but the best of luck at the next level.

Jake Cain was clocked at 89 in Harrison County's tournament this past weekend.

How is Aaron Watts doing this year? I know last Friday against Harrison he was pitching and was throwing upper 80's and hit 90 a couple times. This kid seems to be the all around athlete.

Lexington Catholic, Tates Creek, West Jessamine, Harrison County, and Apollo are my favorites but this is just my opinion.

Harrison holds two tournaments and I believe they are in the second one.

I think the kids last name was Clark. He might have been #1.

That was the pitchers first start of the season. I can name you seven other pitchers for Harrison County that are ahead of him. Im not trying to take away credit from Scott as they won the game and thats all that matters.

How has his senior season gone so far? I figured he would be in the running after seeing him play a few times.

Harrison played all underclassmen until the 5th inning. No seniors started and I really dont understand Coach Whitakers strategy on this one. Harrison also threw a pitcher that is not even in the top 8 of there rotation. After watching this game I have never been so confused with Mac Whitaker in my life. Congratulations Scott.

I, myself, played against West Jessamine last year during the regular season and I was not impressed by Polson. IMO he is a star player on an average team from a weak region. But that is just my opinion. Last year when West Jessamine played Harrison County Harrison won by close to 15. Also, Harrison is usually ranked around 5th or 6th best in THEIR region. Those are just my opinions however.

I have not heard of any source stating that Harrison County is ranked 2nd in the state. The polls in the state of Kentucky are a joke anyways.

Harrison got up early and substituted a player at every posistion except for the pitcher in the top of the 3rd. The breds head to Greenup County friday afternoon.

Glad to see Harrison get a win against a good Brossart team. Harrison is mentally and physically drained right now. After playing 4 games in a row in Vegas, arrive in Cynthiana late Sunday night, go to school, practice from 7-10:30 last night, go to school and play tonight, they are worn out. Glad to see they fought through it and got a good win. Bishop Brossart has a very nice team this year. It doesnt get any easier for the Breds as they travel to Mason County tomorrow night. Then they travel to Greenup friday night for two games and one on Saturday and then Saturday night is Prom night for the juniors are seniors.

Jordan Martin has been throwing mid 80's as a freshman for Harrison County.

Im not sure of their final record was but the lost very few games. They have six or seven really good basketball players on the freshman level. They beat Clark, Scott, Mason, and some other high quality basketball teams. I'm not saying that in a few years they will be able to beat every team in the region but I really think they have a shot at competing for the 10th region championship.
