Thomas is more of an outside player than an inside player. He shoots the three ball very well. Thomas and Martin will need spectacular games to pull this one out.

Yes, AT GRC while the fans got into Malcolm Thomas' head he only had 3 points AT GRC, he is still the most athletic player in the region, and the Breds will come ready to play.

A lot of people are underestimating the Breds...

Plus, not a lot of teams can win while shooting 2-28 from 3-point land at halftime.

Yea as an eighth grader in the district tournament and one against Simon Kenton his junior year. Im not tooting his way. Im saying that in my opinion Harrison County has the three best starting pitchers in the tenth region.

Thoughts on this one...

Jared Martin has a 16-2 varsity pitching record. His only two losses are to Beechwood in the sectional tournament his eighth grade year and to a team out of Miami, Florida his freshman year. Beechwood made it to the state tournament game that year and Martin only allowed two runs against them as an eighth grader. He also has two perfect games in his varsity career. Sowder is a great pitcher but I dont see how he could be the number two pitcher in the region with numbers like these. Chasteen is also another hard throwing right hander that has alot of upside and its very underrated.

I would have to say that Harrison County has the three best pitchers in the region. Logan Dailey, Jared Martin, and Christian Chasteen. IMO I believe Sowder is the fourth best pitcher in the region. What is Sowders high school pitching record?

Rumor has it that Coach Reitz is going to stick around until these freshman graduate. Again that is just a rumor, you never know when he will decide to leave. The man loves the game of basketball and I dont see how he could step away at this time.

Ford is only a sophomore and has a bright future ahead of him.

Very balanced scoring and great defense from the breds brought them this great road victory.

Harrison has an indoor hitting facility. It has two cages and three mounds for live pitching and hitting and it has a pitching machine. They also throw in the gym.

Who will Montgomery have that can guard Thomas? I think this will be a close game. Congratulations to all the Montgomery County seniors.

Have any teams been able to practice yet?

Jordan Martin gets regular playing time each game on the Varsity level. The top 8-10 freshman players all play junior varsity and is mostly the reason why they have had such a successful season. Jordan is an amazing passer to be a freshman and plays great defense when Harrison presses.

The 38th district will be held at Harrison County High School. On Monday at 8 Deming will play Pendleton with Harrison playing Nicholas on Tuesday at 8. The girls game before will begin at 6:30. Both games will be great ones. Harrison is playing some great basketball right now but anyone of these four teams could win the district.

The other two starters for that team decided to concentrate on baseball. The other couple dropped sports entirely as they ran into the real world.
