I believe he is a junior but not 100%. Moved to Harrison County from Alabama from what I've heard. Martin struck out 8 in 4 innings of work. Looks like all the potential is there for the breds.

I think Hunter Hill from Harrison wins POY, in my opinion.

Say what you want. The stats don't lie. Harrison's defense has been the key to them winning their last 5 straight.

Montgomery co. Did shoot bad, but it was because of Harrison's defense. Those kids are streaking right now. I'd love for someone to give Harrison some credit.

Mason Monroe shot a ton of free throws. If he doesn't initiate contact first the refs shouldn't bail him out.

The refs weren't bad at all. The foul count was even throughout the game. Seems like someone is making excuses...

Harrison county is undefeated at home. Should be a great game, but I think Harrison wins this one.

Im glad someone see's Stenzel as classy. If you call trash talking the entire game classy then a lot more people are "classy"

Caleb Ford is easily #2 or 3. His stats and production are off the chart.

Can anyone give Harrison even a little credit for playing an excellent game against a quality opponent?

#44 is a freshman and plays some variety and is a very streaky shooter. Will be a fun one to watch once he matures physically.

Harrison county recently lost Wagner a huge inside man that got most of the rebounds and was the inside presence. Now Martin who is a Small forward is now playing the center and is still adjusting.

This is sad to hear. Coach Ishmael was not only a great mentor and coach but an even better person. What he has done for baseball players across the state is remarkable. Prayers go out to the family and friends from the Harrison County baseball community.

Everytime I've seen Harrison at practice or during a scrimmage they have a different starting line up. They will play about 8 guys while subbing in and out a lot. If they don't win games they will sure be a fun team to watch warm up. I counted 8 players that could dunk easily in warm ups the other night!

If I do recall correctly, Fardo robbed a homerun at Harrison County on a dead sprint. I agree he's a great player, just making a point.

Zach Fardo is a great player, but isn't near the level of Harrison's Jordan Martin.

If Harrison County find there 3rd pitcher, they take the region with ease under Coach Whitaker and compete again for the state title.

John King is one the young kids that will have to contribute this year for them to be succesful. Paul Jones has the most power out of any batter in the line-up. Jordan Martin and Brandon Kendall are the 1,2 punch of the staff. If they can find the third guy for the rotation they have a good chance of winning the region again.

Harrison County has the best pitcher and catcher in the 10th by far. If they can get some young guys to produce it could be a very succesful year for the breds.

Once again Harrison County competed all year and can show that they were one of the best teams in the state. My hat goes off to the 9 seniors. After losing 6 starters from the state championship team, Ryan Durbin, and one of the best pitchers in the state, Logan Dailey, those kids could have easily hung their heads. Im proud of the way they competed and represented Harrison County. Brandon Kendall and Jordan Martin controlled the pitching staff for this team while both being only 16 years old. I wish the best to Shane, Eric, Bryan, Johnson, Mason, Colton, Josh, Logan, and Ryan and would also like to thank them for the hard work and dedication that they put into this program. Congratulations to Bourbon County.

You can think what you want, but I believe most people in the state that know anything about baseball would agree with me saying that Beechwood is the classless team.

The players can't control what goes on outside the fence, that's the umpires job. The umpires were deffinitely not hometown umpires, because they weren't giving the HC pitchers anything either. It seems to me like you can't accept a loss. Harrison county is one of the most respected teams in the state whether you would like to believe it or not.

After playing for Harrison County for 6 years I can assure you that the Harrison County baseball program is nothing but classy. The fans are nothing but classy. If you knew anything about Harrison County baseball you would know that all the fans sit on the hill. I have played against Beechwood several times and not once have I believed that they were a classy program. How many state titles does beechwood have? How many times has Coach Meyerhoff been the coach of the year or national coach of the year? For this program to be so unclassy it has more wins, state titles and gets more respect from people across the state then 90% of other high schools in Kentucky.

Harrison county would never say one word to the opposing team, due to the fact that Coach Whitaker and the coaching staff would never allow that to happen. After the game when all the Beechwood players would not even shake Harrison county's hands, they simply walked past each other, the coaching staff from Harrison County moved them as far away as possible and were told not to even look at them.
