Harrison County has had 3 practices that were on the field, expect for them to look a little shaky.

Chase Mullin's does not throw hard enough to get drafted out of high school.

Jordan Martin is a tough pitcher to beat. Harrison County has the bats, just not the pitching as much.

Harrison county is ranked 25th in Espn rise fab 50.

There is no way Chase Mullins throws 91 MPH. I Saw him pitch last year in the regional tournament and the hardest he threw was 84 MPH on two different guns.

Logan Dailey, Eric Sanders, Ryan Durbin, and Shane Fowler are all seniors that have talked to several colleges from Harrison County. Sophomore, Jordan Martin has had numerous colleges contact him already. Harrison should be a step ahead of other teams in the region but anything can happen.

There are 2 Jordan Martin's. One plays for Grant Co. and the other plays for Harrison co.

They also return Jordan Martin a sophomore this year that pitched the state championship last year who throws an average of 85. Harrison County does have 9 seniors this year returning with a lot of pitching, I look for them to make a run at things again this year.

He is a junior. He started as a sophomore and had a great year then too. This kid has a lot of upside. He is about 6' 4'' that can drive, shoot the three ball, post a little and best of all he plays hardnose defense the entire game.

Jordan Martin- Harrison County

The starting point guard and 6th man from last years team aren't valuable? Maybe they haven't picked up a basketball season since February because they were too busy winning a state championship?

Rumor has it that Harrison County will be losing two valuable players due to wanting to concentrate on baseball.

Its also glad to see that Harrison County has 6 players continuing their baseball careers at the next level and one going to pursue a degree in athletic training.

Ronald told me the other day that Cincinnati has contacted him several times. Kyle Delong, Anderson County- Centre College Zach Harmon, Madison Central- Transy Austin Hunt, Madison Central- Berea Tyler Woolums, Franklin County- Indiana University Southeast Malcolm Thomas from Harrison County is still undecided but is leaning towards University of the Cumberlands I believe. Josh Moss from Harrison County is also undecided but is considering wrestling and playing baseball at Campbellsville University.

Most of them play together on what they call, the Boys Of Summer team.

How about the pitching of Jordan Martin, as a freshman?

Harrison County fans would not be so concerned about this call if Matthew Dye was not ejected last year for sliding into the catcher at home plate. Last year Matthew Dye was on his stomach, sliding head first into home and barely clipped the catcher. He was thrown out of the game and could not play the first round of the state tournament last year. When this incident occured it just seemed odd that a player can intentionally steam roll a catcher and not get thrown out while one can barely clip a catcher a get thrown out. Its just a sour taste in the Harrison County fan base. After all this game is over with. I believe there should be a more absolute ruling on this type of play once the season is over. Can anyone put the link to the video on here? Hunter Hill is fine and will be back. The player knew it was dirty and he apologized for his actions.

Clay County's catcher apologized to Hunter Hill after the game was completed for "running him over", as he stated.

J.D. Ashbrook got picked up by the Chicago Whitesox today!

After hitting .430 with 19 homeruns in division one baseball I would hope he would get the chance.

Its hard to believe former Harrison County standout, J.D. Ashbrook, wasn't drafted after his performance he put on this year at Morehead State.

Logan Dailey, Christian Chasteen, Jordan Martin, Ryan Durbin, Mason Fowler would be the top five starters but they have two good relief pitchers in Jared Martin and Matthew Dye along with a few others.

I would say either Jordan Martin or Ryan Durbin will start for the breds but that is just my opinion.

I dont think they had an all tournament team this year.
