Ronald Cotton in the 45th round to the White Sox

Awesome! Congrats Ronald. Couldn't happen to a nicer kid (and mom). Hope to see him on TV some day (it'll make my old pictures with him all that more valuable).

Jayson Langfels from Lafayette High School and EKU went in the 16th round. GREAT kid with skill as well as the intangibles of heart, dedication, and work ethics! Congrats to Jayson and his family!!

I really enjoy watching this kid play. Glad he received this recognition!

He also received an offer for some baseball money @ Miami U.

Quoted in the paper as saying he's going to college.

Blake Perry-P-(formerly of Boyle County High School) was drafted in the 6th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was a senior this year and has spent the past two years of high school at the IMG Academy in Florida. He received a scholarship to UK and has until August 14 to make a decision. Diamondbacks lose their rights to him after that date.

Hunter Jones got drafted in the 11th round.

If Hunter foregoes college, I hear he is considering signing Eddie Fingers to be his agent.

Its hard to believe former Harrison County standout, J.D. Ashbrook, wasn't drafted after his performance he put on this year at Morehead State.
