I would probably put mason at 7 but neither way this is actually a believable list.

I think that Pendleton has a good chance to move up the list some, maybe as high as an 8 or 9. Just my opinion, based on the coaching change. I think they could have been higher in the past, they have had some talent.

I think that Scott is going to move into the top 3 by the end of the year. The Eagles return 8 seniors (4 of them starters last year). There also have a good junior and sophomore class that will help through out the year, not to mention that a few freshman may play some varsity too. The downside of this class may be the pitching. The Eagles had 4 seniors last year who all pitched(all 4 were starters & 1 of them was the closer) so there going to be returning 1 major starter and a couple of 6 mans from the varsity experience. But they do have some good pitching in some of the Juniors and Sophomores.

I agree with you here. They return 7 of their 9 everyday starters, including their top 4 hitters. A coaching change was desperately needed, and I'm looking forward to seeing what new head coach Josh Hamm can do with these kids.

How will Bishop Brossart be? Do they return alot from last season?

I do not really follow baseball much, but I hear about Harrison baseball ALL the time! Is this thier region to lose this year and what is it in Cynthiana that makes the Breds sooo successful in baseball?

Harrison County has a superb Baseball Program and the National Coach of the Year in Mac Whitaker. The youth of Harrison County play baseball and they want to play on State Championship teams. Coach Whitaker has won 4 State Championships during his tenure at Harrison County. They lost a lot of key players from 2010, but the 10th Region is still theirs to lose in 2011. Ace Logan Dailey could be one of the top players in the state this year. Also have strong pitching staff with some depth returning.

They also return Jordan Martin a sophomore this year that pitched the state championship last year who throws an average of 85. Harrison County does have 9 seniors this year returning with a lot of pitching, I look for them to make a run at things again this year.

ithought jordan martin was at grant co. now.i thought it was his older brother that pitched. unless there is another jordan martin that is a soph. the jordan martin i am talking about was at harrison but came to grant last year. i had the pleasure of coaching him during the past couple summers. an outstanding athletic talent, but does not throw 85. although i am pretty sure his older brother did. apoligies ahead of time if i am talking about the wrong kid

There are 2 Jordan Martin's. One plays for Grant Co. and the other plays for Harrison co.

thanks for clarification. i knew that jordan(from grant co. )had an older brother that pitched for harrison a couple years back.

I was extremely impressed with Brossart last season and my understanding is that their team consisted of quite a few juniors and underclassmen. If so, they have got to be returning a very strong team this year.

How much longer will he be there until colleges come calling for his services (if they already haven't)?

Campbell County is returning several players. They will go as far as their pitching takes them, as with anyone. One coming back from Tommy John. They should have as much or more speed than anyone in the 10th.
