Trinity by all accounts has two upset wins to capture district. Hats off to kids and Coach Szabo for stepping up when it counts!

Waggener just beat them by 17 two weeks ago. Could be trouble for Trinity to keep streak of, I believe, 12 straight regionals alive!

I think the powers to be sometimes, in an effort to streamline things, don't realize they are ruining the experience for the kids!

As a parent of former divers, I think it is a crime that they moved diving finals out of the middle of the state final and put it on its own day. In my opinion, that ruins the event for the divers and disenfranchises them from their teammates!

St. X and Sacred Heart will win state titles again and it won't be close

The Glenn kid, who is a freshman at Male, could be a major D1 prospect if he continues to develop! From what I saw, probabaly aren't many in the state better than him right now!

I thought Trinity started playing not to lose in the fourth quarter, instead of continuing to attack. Against a team with the athletes that Male possesses, that will get you beat most times. I was really impressed by the Moore and Glenn kids for Male! On a side note, Trinity recognized the 2010 team at half for winning the KOB, Republic Bank classic, and LIT all in the same season. It was impressive how successful the group of kids has been in life!

I have to agree. I think the Franklin kid has potential but otherwise I don't see the potential next level talent they have had for the last ten years. I hope I am wrong.

Congrats to X and the Mosley kid Szabo needs to find the younger kids that have potential and let them get minutes this year. Rebuilding year for the Rocks!

I think the line play was the most surprising thing about this game Trinity totally controlled both lines of scrimmage all day long!

This reminds me of the Trinity -StX rivalry from the mid to late 2000’s. X would win the regular season game and had what was considered the better team yet Trinity would turn the tables in the playoffs or championship game and get the win. We shall see on Sunday!

Trinity has a lot to replace. It will be tough to stay in top 3 of region with a lot of unproven players needing to contibute in a big way!

Based on Beatty's past approach to games like this with Male and X, I wouldn't be surprised to see Male come out on top and Trinity return the favor if they meet again later!

He was a man today. Moreno not too shabby but Hardaway and Turnier did a great job keeping him from dominating the middle.

If they play ten times, Scott County wins 6-7 IMO. We will see who comes to play today!

Not so fast! If Moreno doesn't play I would say they would be an underdog against Trinity since they only beat them by two and Johnson wasn't playing.

They barely beat Trinity who didn’t have David Johnson Not sure I count that as a guaranteed win if they meet again

Ray obviously developed into a great player but IMO Johnson is ahead with his skill level at this point in their careers
