They beat teams ranked below them. I would imagine if they beat teams above them then they would move up.

There isn't a ranking system in sports that works that you have to beat the teams in front of you to move up.

If no one loses in front of you it won’t matter anyways. The #2 team lost on the road with a very controversial call at the end of the game and dropped 3 spots. Best case scenario for Madisonville would be up to #5 and CovCath down to #6.

I feel you. You asked a legit question that I felt deserved an answer. I welcome all questions to this conversation. It’s always a great conversation to have IMO.

Everyone in that top 7 have been good so far this season. Madisonville has come out and been very impressive, especially with their opening schedule. We will see what they do at the King of the Bluegrass. Big game between John Hardin and Madisonville on Jan 4th. I know its far off, but that will be good.

I hope they can inch their way upward as the season goes on but the Rocks do not have the exceptional talent they have had. Santa needs to bring Coach Szabo some magic dust for Christmas. I'm intrigued by their loss to DeSales. I think the Colts are under the radar right now and they might be very good this year.
