I don't know if Ballard Memorial could stop a descent middle school team, and I'm not kidding. We had a freshman break one for 90 yards and rush for over 150 yards, I believe, in the 2nd half, and he was simply running into the line. Mayfield wins this one 50-0

Ballard Memorial only had 17 players dress for the game at Caldwell County. Mayfield can name the score.

The lights issue may have been an early issue too. A 45 minute delay to the start when the boys are all hyped up and ready, then then that takes the air out of them, on both sides.

I don't have any children of my own, so my story is a little more R-rated. When I was way younger I was at a Robert Earl Keen show at a club in Nashville standing backstage talking to Keen and he introduced me to Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson. I asked Kris to tell me something cool, so he told me a story and Willie lit up. Needless to say, it was an awesome time. Kris even told me I was really cool, because I didn't bug either of them for an autograph.
